Just watched this story on one of our current affair shows over here. Great story.
An Aussie Mum from the country raising four young ones who wrote in her spare time. Every agent and publisher in Australia rejected her plus a bucketload in the UK and USA. Her family business folded the day before she got the call and her and her husband had planned on going back to university to study. Real down-to-earth lady.
She's now up to $1.4m in deals.

What a wonderful and amazing story. I'm so happy for her and her family, and what divine timing!
It does underline the fact that even when it seems like no one believes in you, you have to believe in yourself enough for all of them.
It only takes one yes. Sometimes the biggest obstacle in the way of that "yes" is our own fear and self-doubt.
We need to continue to get out of our own way, and press on!
