I like "oaky" (a word I made up 
) language when it comes to description. You know, like words that sort of bark when you say them. (Ironically, "bark" is one of them 
)
Words like "gnarled" or "casks" or even "pregnant." (pregnant as in describing something that is full....such as "The situation was pregnant with irony.")
What are your favorite types of descriptive phrases/words? Stuff that gives you a very vivid visual of what is going on...
