awesome writing contest - get published!

Hey, I just found a great writing contest from Kirkus Reviews. They have all the information about the contest up on their site, but basically they gather unpublished short story collections and novels and the winner gets published by Little, Brown.

As an unpublished author, this really excited me, and I hope it helps some of you. Good luck to everyone who submits!

Are you gettign a cut of the entry fees? A contest with a $150 entry fee is far from an awesome contest. There and many very good novel contests out there. Some have no entry fees, and the others have only a $15-25 entry fee. $150 is not awesome, it's robbery.

I was wondering if everyone who had "banned" underneath their user names was actually banned, or if they were all just trying to make the same joke when they changed their title.
