Shamelessly stolen from Probably Bad News (http://probablybadnews.com/2009/11/02/funny-news-headlines-paperbacks-are-so-last-millennia/).

ETA: if you didn't laugh, go to post #5.

Amazon and Google are really Skynet incognito.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the report that Amazon is going to sell paperback versions of e-books tells me people still want a book to hold in their hands.

I was making a joke, of how ebooks are so dominant that Amazon selling paperback versions is news-worthy.

And I apologise now for ruining the joke by explaining it.

Thank you ever so much for the half hour I just spent laughing my ass off at Probably Bad News. I really needed that today. :D

P.S. Dempsey, I got the joke. I thought it was hilarious the way they worded it. :)

*sigh*

Amazon already sells paperback version of originally e-published books. In other news, previously paperback published books are also being sold by Amazon as e-books.

Go figure.
