I've noticed since I started doing character profiles (a suggestion made to me by my beta reader), that I have WAY more ideas flowing. I can't get enough writing.

What's up with that? Is it because I have everything laid out?

I'd venture that the more hard info you know about your character, the more doors will open about that person's life. More doors means more storylines.

Because you've got more info about them, you're more excited about them. You feel more connected to them and thus you want to write more about them.
