I remember Soupy from when I was a kid. What was the Game Show he was always a panelist one? Was it What's My Line? Wasn't it usually, Soupy, Flip Wilson, and Peggy Cass, or am I mixing things up. I always loved Soupy, in any case.

Sales, who was typically clad in a black sweater and oversized bow-tie, was once suspended for a week after telling his legion of tiny listeners to empty their mothers' purse and mail him all the pieces of green paper bearing pictures of the presidents.

A true genius has passed away.

I remember a blooper reel from the Soupy Sales show. In the script, he was supposed to answer a knock at the door. But when he opened the door, instead of the character who was supposed to be there, one of the crew was standing off screen, but in full view of Soupy, stark naked. His reaction was absolutely priceless.

Soupy was a class act. RIP, man.
