Online writers, help the freelance writing industry by filling out a survey and receive a $5 reward.

We are a writers' community seeking to provide a system for writers like you that best accommodates your needs and helps you to earn more with your writing. We'd like to find out how you like to work as a writer.

Please fill out the application, it only takes a minute:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=E2W20bcxswcJ0P0tuzJOtQ_3d_3d

If you qualify for participation we will email you an invitation to the online survey. The survey only takes four minutes; your participation will be rewarded with $5.

We appreciate your time and look forward to receiving your application.

Best regards,

Anna Barcley

This (and EHow) is how I kill time at "work". Five beans is five beans, right?

I followed the online link yesterday, provided my email address, and completed a brief form online. (5 minutes)

This morning I got an email saying I'd been selected to participate in the survey, so I followed that link and took another 5-minute survey. Upon completion, it said to expect another email in a few days to provide my Paypal info.

Will continue to report back on response times & any notable increase in spam emails...

Spam e-mails?

No- emails saying they got my first survey and I qualified, then another saying I would get another email in a few days for my paypal address info.

Update...4 days later, and I still haven't heard back.

Looks like that trip to Dollar General is going to have to be postponed indefinitely...

Ditto for me. I "qualified", took the survey and was told I would be emailed about my $5. Still no $5. I may have to put aside some time to find out what enterprise ran the survey. If their payment for something this simple is flawed I am not enthusiastic about the content writing site they seem to be preparing to start.

Add another to the group that followed the instructions, took the two surveys, was promised payment e-mail to follow... with no e-mail following.

I received an email from Anne and asked if it was ok to share- she responded that everyone had been sent an email now. Glad to see you got it, jeffo :-)

She apologized for the delay and said payment would be in the next few days. I'll keep you updated on my payment- and anything else that comes in regarding the survey and this possible writer's site.

I just got the email too (yay!).

But am I the only one to notice said $5 is in Canadian currency. Sure, the didn't specify, but come on. That already trims 25c off the total.

Same here. Does it take them this long to pay their writers? Doesn't really make me want to work for them...
