I sold my first articles. They were only on associated content but they were 4 and they sold quickly so it made me feel good. I'd never really tried doing any freelancing before or even non-fiction; but decided that since I had a background in patient teaching as a RN, although I'm retired now, I might as well use it or lose it.

Way to go, Kay! Don't minimize the accomplishment! Selling your first articles is definitely a marker on your path to your goals--good for you! :)

NICE GOING! (Don't speak of a publication as an 'only'...be proud that you're on your way. There are no 'onlys'.) CONGRATS!

Well, I tell you this AC thing is really an odd experience they can keep you busy alright. I sold another one today and it appears that the purchase prices are slowly creeping up (beats the heck out of free though).......and I've already made more than I did on my royalties on 2 books with PA :Hammer: . They must keep busy because these things sell just about as fast as you can write the silly things but I'm not complaining....my jeep broke down...we can use the money!!!

Thank you everyone. I ended up selling 5 my first week so I felt pretty good about it. I am thinking about expanding but I want to get some more experience under my belt first since I really don't have background in doing non-fiction articles.

Goon on ya'! You are braver than me. I haven't gotten the guts to buy Jenna's freelance book, (I have Outwitting writer's block, though.) I am writing a novel in half hour spurts before my day job and wondering how on earth I could ever write an article or get started. So GOOD FOR YOU! Keep up the good work!
