Grandfather's Collection is in the basement
The basement is home to many other things.
Most recently it has been home to a lively, thriving colony of black mold.
My quest has been to eliminate the mold and all of its sources as both my daughter and I have asthma.
I digress.
Grandfather's collection of stamps.
I faintly remembered them. And as bouts of cleaning were interspaced with sessions with my inhaler....
(Yes folks...there are masks and bleach...and the enemy of mold itself..my gentleman friend!)...
Uh...the stamps were found.
Some of them were already claimed by the mold.
But many of them were encased in plastic and sealed into volumes that were themselves sealed in plastic.
...and someone said..wow...I bet these are worth something.
So I went to E-bay to look them up.
Big mistake...too much info...I got confused.
So I went to the library...too many books. I guess stamp collecting is a bigger thing than I imagined.
Can anybody tell me what to do? I don't want to eat up what little remains of my free time researching [stupid] stamps...but I don't want to accidentally sell a 'million dollar stamp' for $49.95 and a Kit Kat bar...saavy???
HALP!!! HALP!!!! HALP!!!!!
