I'll keep my list a little simpler.

I want . . .

1. To have a beautiful autumn in Tennessee.

2. To get an acceptance letter from one of the children's book publishers I've submitted to.

3. To lose ten pounds (okay, okay, fifteen).

4. To get my play ready for the National Ten-Minute Play Competition (the deadline is coming up soon).

5. To get the outside work done around the house before it gets cold.

6. To go get an eye exam (I've been putting it off because they'll need to dilate my eyes).

7. To go to dinner with my best friend.

8. The Cardinals to win the World Series.

9. The P&CE forum to be password protected.

10. To take a drive down the Natchez Trace Parkway this fall (it's run by the National Park Service); the entrance to the Trace is just down the road from where I live.

I want...

1. To be more social.

2. To continue losing weight.

3. To be successful in building my business.

4. If I can't have #3 to find a good paying job.

5. A Siamese kitten.

6. A chocolate Labrador puppy to raise with the Siamese kitten.

7. For my kids to all be happy and healthy.

8. To finish at least one book.

9. To be published.

10. To not be afraid of meeting more people.

1. I want that to be the last Final Destination movie ever. Full stop. No but wait there's more. There's no more.

2. I want Pacific Blue to stop with the macarena-tune ad.

3. I want a sammich.

4. I want my boyfriend's toy frog to stop staring at me.

5. I want to pass my tests next week.

6. I want a cookie. Disregard number 3, please.

7. I want yoghurt to come with clearer warning labels if they're low fat and sugar. Shoddy labeling wrecked a week's worth of breakfast. If I wanted low fat and sugar I'd have cardboard.

8. I want those breakfasts back.

9. I want chocolate. That can be combined with the cookie in chip form. I'm not an ogre.

10. I want to sleep in tomorrow. Damn classes. *slumps off to bed*

I want...

1. To stop animal abuse
2. To stop medical/product testing on animals
3. To get published
4. To wipe out terrorism
5. To wipe out drug abuse
6. To continue living in my fantasy realm
7. Oh, and I want Eric Northman!

I want...more coffee!

-my cat to feel better, and live forever

-a do-over on breakfast, stollen was not a good idea

-a drama free day

-for the vendor to leave more Coca-cola from Mexico, my stash is running low

-to find a gift for my husband's birthday

And that's about it for now.

I want...

10. ...to finish my present MIP before next summer

9. ...my housemate to realize what a putz she is sometimes and apologize on occasion.

8. ...to figure out how to broaden my social circles in real life.

7. ...to start enjoying and thriving in this learning curve.

6. ...my folks' health to stay good for the rest of their lives.

5. ....the world economy to get back on track (or at least get the illusion of prosperity back).

4. ...a new job closer to home that pays enough to live on. (hey, dream big, y'know?)

2. ...to thank all the AWers for being a great cyber family-not-family.

1. ...my daughter to stop focusing on the negatives and get over herself already.

I want...

1. to sleep in just one day. I know I could go 12 hours easy, I'm so exhausted.

2. enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. They closed the only easily accessible one.

3. to help those caught 'in between'. They don't have enough money/food/resources/physical health/mental health to function well in society, but don't quite qualify for any aid.

4. to finish my stinking story.

5. to find a job I love doing that makes it feel worthwhile to work every day.
