Though I've been here a while, I still have
no idea what more then half these abbreviations
mean, and for someone new, I'm sure they're
totally lost.
It took me several months to figure out WIP.

I still have no idea what NaNo . . . is.

Unless Robin Williams is back as an Alien.

NaNoWriMo = National Novel Writing Month (www.nanowrimo.org (http://www.nanowrimo.org)). The goal is to write 50,000 words of the first draft of a novel in 30 days during the month of November.

It took me awhile to figure out BIC. All I kept picturing was someone sitting on their pen. Ouch.

For a bit of trivia, BIC was a brand name of stereo equipment in the 1970's, I think just turntables and speakers. Websearching shows they still make speakers.
