The Men Who Stare At Goats

I have no idea what to expect out of this movie. The premise looks clever, it has a fantastic ensemble cast, the previews look good, and yet ... for some reason it reminds me of Burn After Reading. Is it going to be too quirky? Did they just shove a bunch of big name stars into the mix? Or could this be a rare and original gem?

I was sorta of the same mind here.

This has sooo much potential to just be freaking hilarious, which worries me.

The thing I hate about comedy trailers is that they 'often' use the funniest parts in the trailers and then when you see the movie everything else is downhill from there.

But yeah, the preview definitely piqued my interest

Indeed, I hope this is going to be good and not another Burn After Reading let down.

As a long-time listener of Coast to Coast AM, I can't wait for this movie...it looks hilarious! I saw the author on The Daily Show a while back, and he made the book sound awesome. I think I'll wait until after I see the movie to read the book, but I definitely want to experience both. The premise seems wickedly clever and mostly true.
