I’m looking for stories (about 250-500 words) from those who have had pancreatitis, or those who have been touched by this somehow – friend, family member, colleague, etc.
How was it treated? Were special recipes incorporated into diet plans? Was it necessary to be hospitalized? How long did it last? What was the cause? Those are just some of the questions that can be answered in the story.
These stories will be the lead to each chapter for a cookbook I’m compiling, The Complete Pancreatitis Cookbook: 365 Family Friendly Recipes. I’m going to self-publish through Lulu.com, and use the proceeds to offset the expenses that have incurred as a result of my husband’s pancreatitis.
