There is roleplaying, I.E Dungeons and Dragons and the various White Wolf systems and so on.
Then there is LARPing, wherein you take a more active role in the roleplaying by dressing up in costumes and interact as though you were on the stage. Its actually kinda fun!
However, American LARPers are...lame.
We do Vampire LARPs and we do DnD LARPS and...that's about it.
But in Russia...
