It took around 4 months, and ended up ~11,000 words shorter than my original goal of 100k, but the first draft of Shadows and Dust is done!
I can forget the deus ex machina ending for now, and the characters that are introduced way too late, and the crappy writing, and the scenes that don't make sense. Those are all fixable in edits, and right now, the only thing that matters is that I finished.
