Hey ya'll! A song is played in my new WIP which needs to have the theme of betrayal / being betrayed / cheated on etc. Anyone got any recommendations of indie / rock / alternative songs that might cover this?

I have a while music library of rock etc but my brain is squish and I seriously can't think of ANYTHING!!!

Thanks in advance!

Oh, I'll think on this... Is Damien Rice still considered indie? The song 9 Crimes would probably fit.

The only other recommendation I have is Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home, but that's about as heavy, although in a different way.

Speaking of Death Cab... :) Long Division would work too, I think. I LOVE Death Cab. Just download the whole album. They have great lyrics. :)

Still thinking...

Indie band members don't generally get girlfriends. You'll find unrequited love songs by the bucketload, though.

Made Up Stories by Go:Audio :D

excerpt:

Don't come back and pretend to tell me
The night you've had with your made up stories
I was there but you didn't see me.
There you were and the floor was empty
You and him getting more than friendly
Just a kiss but I can see you meant it.
