How I got my agent

I've used Absolute water cooler to research agents and to read about other writers. I stuck with it and landed Victoria Sanders as my agent. I wanted to share with Absolute my road to an agent. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks Greg, you give me hope! I sent out a slew of queries and half have come back negative. I can now see a handful of things that need to be changed. I'm attending my first writing conference this month and one of the agents I've queried (not yet responded) is an agent I have an interview with. I figure, worst case, she can tell me why I'm horrible and at least learn from it.
