Hello, reppers.

I'm home. In one piece. Safe and mostly sound, except for still itching thanks to the first lot of antibiotics they gave me for the delightful throat infection I enjoyed while I was away. *scratches*

I do like coconut, but it's not usually my pie of choice for the holidays.

Though it makes for an interesting subsitute and something worth thinking about.

I don't even need a holiday to make that pie. The only trouble I have is keeping that water (or whatever it is) from forming between the fluffy meringue and the custard after its been refrigerated.

bah, I posted a thread an no-one is answering. So I shall ask here... any one you ever done a scrapbook story? A story made of blog entries and emails and things. I thought it was a great idea until I started and now I'm getting nervous.

6th form English at my school (or maybe 7th) had a creative presentation project along those lines, Ellefire. Not blogs, because I'm ancient. But we had to piece together a presentation including things like newspaper articles, diaries... um... I forget what else. All made up, of course, or it'd not be creative. It was pretty fun, except for the part where I had to spend a whole night making little leprechaun dolls. That was pure tedium.

well, that's mostly good.

I hate to say this, but I wasn't aware you were away. Where did you go?

*decides not to pretend to be all wounded*

I thought I'd spend the first week of my study break at my mother's. Where the internet is dial-up and the computers die when I look at them. It seemed a good way to get a lot of studying done. Except for little distractions like being sick, and a job interview, it might even have worked.
