Where has the day gone? I mean, really. I've barely got an hour left of work today.

Wish I only had barely an hour's worth of work to do, but *shrug* I'll take the end of the day quite happily.

BTW, everyone celebrate with me. Went to the doctor's today and discovered I've taken off sixteen (that's 16) pounds since the first of the year.

Hi again... hope everyone is well....

I got lost in the Real World... they were holding me hostage... I had to explain to an 11 year old that it was unacceptable to get an F on an OPEN BOOK TEST!!! Surely the worst sort of torture... with humongous brown eyes overfilled with tears staring back at me.... I had to leave the room so I didn't cry myself...

I must come back to this reality where I am nicer and more serene....

Tell 11 year old it is okay. We must not dwell on failures but on being better later...

I am quite liking all these new/old threads, means I can join in without feeling I have to read 20 thousand posts to get up to speed.

I always have to read an entire thread before commenting. I know, it's a problem.

I told the 11 year old that I loved her very much, but she was never to be the first one done on a test again...

I had the 11 year old look up the questions and write the right answers on the paper...

I told the 11 year old that if she failed a test and tried her very best, I would never be upset....

(it was multiple choice and matching by the way...)
