Creepy and wrong.
I am cooking devilled sausages for dinner. I hope it tastes okay. I've only made it once before, and that was from a packet.

At last, OFFICIALLY in the middle of nowhere. But
A spicy note to your everyday sausages, will be loved by adults and kids alike! Serve with either mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes or on a bed of steamed rice with vegetables.
Recipe provided by:

Allrecipes
Ingredients
500g beef or pork sausages
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ cup (125ml) water
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Preparation method
1. Heat oil in pan and brown sausages until cooked.
2. Drain any excess oil from pan.
3. Combine all other ingredients with the water to make a sauce.
4. Add to sausages stir until sauce begins to boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Stirring occassionally for about 10 mins.
5. Serve with either a potato, sweet potato mash or on a bed of steamed rice with vegetables.

lost among the words
Ah! My roommate makes a variation of this, except she adds extra water and makes the rice right in with the sausages.

She just calls it "Rice and links". We Yanks, so imagative with our names, y'know? LOL!

OT's post more or less got it. Except I prepared it a bit differently and added onion and apple. So combine the two posts, but instead of going in a slow cooker, which I don't have, it went in the oven.

Any time, Boston. I should add that my 'different preparation' was frying the sausages until they were more or less cooked and leaving them to cook for a while before cutting them in 1/2 -3.4 inch slices, and frying a large, thinly sliced onion and a medium thinly sliced green apple until they were soft and adding all that and the sauce to an oven dish, covering and cooking for about 30 minutes at 180C which in Fahrenheit is about whatever temperature you use to bake a cake.

If you have a slow cooker, you're luckier than me, and I assume you just bung everything in it and let it do its thing all on its lonesome.

180 = 350

I know this from having to cook in Europe and learn all the fancy-smancy conversions in order to make my recipes work. :D

and yes, I have a slow cooker, and I very much like the addition of the onion and the apple.

(almost makes me feel bad about the sparrow :D)

Does OT not like clowns either?

*wonders whether OT will answer truthfully, given what she knows about me* :D

You can pass any motions you like, you're not going to stop me from pulling out my funnymen whenever I get the urge. :D

The whole thing was intended to sound wrong. Although perhaps experiences I've had which others may not have could possibly have led to the 'passing a motion' having an immediate second meaning in my head.
