My dad did the same thing in Canada, once.

The moose came out from behind a boulder, about three feet in front of him. They apparently startled each other sufficiently, as the moose turned and fled.

Dad, being an accomplished photographer, came away with a nice shot of his thumb.

For someone who writes fiction, you're awfully preoccupied with reality. You might want to have a doctor or something look at that.

But moose are reality, not fiction.

Besides, I can't imagine them getting the black hood over the antlers.

I think the flamingos in Florida aren't wild. And that the pink birds in the wild aren't flamingos at all, but roseate spoonbills.

At least that's what I remember from the family vacation there and the report I had to write to prove the "educational value" of the vacation taken during school days.

I'm here! Just having a conversation about children's presenters on another forum, trying to concentrate while there is EIGHT children in the room and playing room escape games.
