Creepy and wrong.
I like the flow of "a mutant...uh, mutant...uh crap" much better than ungulate. Makes me think of undulate or unguent--especially unguent. I really don't think camels are much like Vaseline, though.

And I'm scaring myself with how many of these words I just KNOW....

Yeah, I got stuck with undulate. And the mental image of the camel sitting at his computer, undulating.

*heads for the cupboard with the brain bleach*

BOSTON!!!

I was talking about the tongue wagging smiley!

I should have known my question would be misinterpreted.

If that surprises you then you haven't been paying attention.

And if you should have known better, then you've been around long enough to be one of the regulars who *does* know better.

Not that it ever stops anyone. :D

He's also 2. Cake, some presents to tear open, a few other miscellaneous items for entertainment, and he'll be good to go. :D

Camels and other camelids (llamas, alpacas, whatevers) are closely related to bovids and cervids. And only distantly related to equids and other odd toed ungulates.

This means I'm distantly related to the Sheep-Camel. Dire.

I said nothing about kissing.

If that's what comes to your mind first, well, maybe that's just part of my charm. :D

.... and I'll wait for you to pick yourself off the floor and stop laughing before you reply.

You have a rather dragonesque charm there lately, Two Humps.

Hettie, you may ask any question you like :)

There's a little neon camel in the window of a cafe/restaurant just down the road from where I live. Every time I walk past it, I think, 'oh, a little neon Boston.' And maybe that I should take a photo of it and share it with all of you. Perhaps with an accompanying accusal of stalking. But I don't. Because I never think to take my camera with me when I'm going that way.

I would never accuse you of stalking, Neuro. Granted, you're a wee bit obsessive about following me around, but you don't seem to have elevated it to hiding in my bushes yet.

That's what you think, but I'm ninja like a moose. You just haven't seen me. In fact, I pooped under your doormat the other day. Clearly you still haven't noticed it. Even my crap is ninja.

Ninja like a MOOSE??

:Wha:

Have you ever seen a moose? Ninja-esque is not the first adjective that springs to mind.

Et tu, poo sister?

No, two-humps, I have never seen a moose. You know why I've never seen a moose? Because they're ninja.
