One afternoon and I'm completely knackered.

But at least the kids are too.

I've had people ask me why I don't home school my kids and I just kinda look at them with a "are you ******* insane?!?" stare.

I NEED those few hours without them. It keeps me from being institutionalized.

I'm hanging out for it.

Angus starts next term (2 weeks of holidays starts next week) and we had to go for a couple of visits to get him used to it before he starts there on his own.

It's madness. I couldn't do that every day, it's bad enough having my own two. I'm planning on training Ethan to have his nap while Angus is at kindy so I get a couple of hours free.
I was going to use it to write, but hubby is supposed to be starting nights, so I'll write then instead.

I just need a break from people, really.

My counsin just posted a photo of me at the party on the weekend, talking to her dad. I have bad hair and look like I have a turkey neck. It must have been the angle my head was on, but I feel so humiliated.

I thought the purpose of family photos--particularly ones that got posted--was to be humiliating.
