I know that in a couple of weeks, everyone on the planet will be devouring the new Harry Potter book. What are you all reading in the meantime?

I'm currently working through The Reef by Nora Roberts, Under the Black Flag by David Cordingly, and re-reading HP and the Sorcerer's Stone for the eleventy-seventh time.

Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception. I just finished reading Diana's Empress of Clouds (and it IS Fabulous - you BETTER finish the trilogy girly. I know where you live.)

In the bag to my right I have... The Wizard's test, by Hilari Bell, Magyk (book One) by Angie Sage, Books 1 and 2 of the Circle opens by Tamora Pierce, and A Ring of Endless Light, by Madeline L'Engle. Oh, and Through the Mists of Time, by TA Moore (from LBF books, it looked interesting, so I got a copy from my publisher)

I have an aunt who is a Librarian, oops, excuse me, media specialist. She's home from England for the summer and loves to take her favorite nieces to the bookstore for a big pile of books.

I'm almost through with Artemis Fowl, so whatever else I get through before HP gets here, gets read. If not, it waits.

Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, By Greggory Maguire- I'm about 1/2 way through and really enjoying it.

I'm also browsing Order of the Phoenix for the 3rd time, just to get ready ;)

I started reading OOP the other day, don't see me gfetting through it before the new HP.. then again, I'll be the last one in the house to read the new one, so I just may get through it. ;)

Other than that, I haven't really been reading anything. I just finished school, was taking some time off (of reading AND writing--- that ends next week)

OOo, I read Wicked when I first broke my leg (didn't have anything else to do) I started in the hospital. LOVED it. Someday I'll get Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and read that too. And Mirror Mirror...

I really liked confessions of an ugly step sister. Our own Julia Temlyn was telling me about Wicked the musical and it made me want to read the book. It's quite amazing. Very rich in its own history of religion and pagan worship. They are opposing sides in Oz. Great story.
