Farewell Liz Conrad

Liz Conrad children's book illustrator died from cancer Wednesday the 26th. Although I didn't not know her, she was a big part of SCBWI Southern Breezers.
Liz just completed her first children's book that she wrote and illustrated herself.
You are missed.

I hadn't heard of the lady until now, but to those who have been touched by Ms. Conrad's death I offer my condolences.
