and the livin' is ea-sy
So I sent out eleven queries last week with HIGH hopes. Unrealistically HIGH hopes... and so far I've gotten four rejections. I know that's only four rejections and I'll probably get more, but I feel like the whole world has rejected me. Blah.

I blogged about it and analyzed all the different levels of query rejection, and sadly all four of mine are the worst "Dear Author" level. Blah.

I guess I just need to rant. Sorry...

You rant as much as you need to. When you're done, I'll pour you a glass of wine, okay?

Maryn, clinking glasses with you

Sorry! The first few hurt the most. Rant like Maryn says and then move on. Revenge querying is sometimes good therapy.

I big agent asked for a partial and I almost crapped my pants. Unfortunately, it was through snail mail which cost me a bloddy fortune and FedEx for copies. The form rejection I got back in my SASE made me want to slap a kitten.
A writer's life is hard but what else can we do?
