The Weekend Procrastination Report 2005

Thought about working on a story that has been rattling around in the old lemon since last year. Idea first conceived as a sketch for a sketch comedy show, but now will be a short story.

Visited the forums and participated in a lively political discussion on the 'Take it outside board'. Convinced William Haskins and robeiae to join the Democratic Party. But to paraphrase Groucho, I don't won't to be a member of a party that would have those two as members. Joining Republican Party next week.

Upped my post count to 18 (19 counting this one)

Thought about going to the gym, but decided to eat a barbecue sandwich and watch reruns of "Grace Under Fire."

Wrote approximately 700 words on forums.

Looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

Almost had an idea for a story and decided to really get busy and write as soon as I came back from the gym.

There was more people at the gym than I expected, especially for a holiday weekend. Unfortunately, while warming up on a treadmill, I became distracted by a dainty, muscly female powerlifter who caused me to loose my balance when she performed a sexy clean and jerk. The treadmill shot me to the back of the room where I crashed into a stairmaster. The grandmother using the stairmaster tried to politely help me up by wrapping her towel around my neck, twisting it a few times, and pulling hard. Just before loosing consciousness, I was rescued my gym management who kindly escorted out of the building.

I came home and sat in front of my computer staring at the blank screen knowing I would not receive any inspiration from my boring life.

Feeling depressed about my aborted workout, I ate a bag of tortilla chips with peach and pineapple salsa (tastes better than it sounds). Watched Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network. My favorite show at the moment is Robot Chicken.

Read several threads in the forums. Upped my post count by one.

Ready for the homestretch tomorrow (today?). Plans include thinking about updating stuff on my website (along with thinking about writing).
