OK, I guess this is nothing like what some of you others have done, but for me with no writing at all for the last 10 years, its a big step 
Sat down yesterday at lunch, and decided I needed to write. I wrote down the first sentence that came to mind: "Now is the hour of our discontent". And then just started writing over the half hour lunch break.
The words just flowed, and ended the time with a little vignette about someone discussing their childhood house in the countryside that had been burned down.
I was very pleased with myself.
So today I'm going to try another half hour Nothing like starting out.
