You're swimming in the ocean, and lightning strikes -- far enough away that it doesn't kill or seriously injure you, but close enough that you feel something. What does it feel like?

Just a guess - You are not conducting any current but you are contacting several thousand volts of static electricity. It should feel like one of those Tesla balls, where your body would tingle all over. If your hair were dry, it would stand on end. There may be some heat involved.
What do you feel inside a jetliner when it gets hit by lightning?
