Any expectations for this game, story-wise?
I thought the method of release kinda unique.

I think Raynor's gonna die, eventually.
Maybe we'll also learn some more about these Perfect Beings the Xel'Naga created.

Beta requirements.
PC thing only.

Turns out, those beta specs are fudgy.

Blizzards Battle.net 2.0 article. Has a nice video with the BN director, and some good screenshots.
I'm glad they're making a better BN, the current one feels stale.

One thing I'm worried about is this always connected thing, my internet isn't the best around...

I just found out beta confidentiality was released about a month ago, so now I can tell people, I am a beta tester.

1) It's not one game in three pieces, it's three games in three pieces.
2) Why implement LAN when you have the internet?
3) Nothing is certain there yet. I can't attest to it as single-player is disabled in beta. Only multi-player is available.

Aaaaaaand, beta phase 2 is up, back to getting regularly steamrolled...

WoW Korea gets it for free...

And that is why I don't play multi-player matches.

They're learning.

Taking a note out of companies like Biowares book, Blizz has made it possible to download the game beforehand, with it being unlocked on the day of release.

You download it right now, pay on the launch day, saves play time from becoming download time. Imma go play DOW while it DL's. 7GB download.

Edit: Oh, and the new Battle.net site is up, although it's still beta. Everything will be moving there eventually, except for the community site, maybe.
