Wish me luck! I'm hoping having you guys here expecting me to accomplish this goal will motivate me to actually apply my buttocks to the chair in front of my computer, open WORD, and get to it! :)

it was going great- then I realized that the last scene and a half were totally ineffectual. ::sigh:: two festivals in fifty pages would NOT have worked out. Some of the stuff was so neat though ( I had this whole thing going with some ice sculptures...::sigh:: they were pretty...), i think i'll save it in another file and insert it later in the story. i've already done that with one scene I liked...I don't see why it can't work here. :) Oh well, back to work! I wrote a bunch of stuff out longhand that I'm still typing up, I'll let you guys know tomorrow how many words it wound up being! :)
