When an agent asks for a one or two page synopsis, should it still be double spaced? Also, should it begin at the top of page one or halfway down? A one page, double spaced synopsis, starting halfway down is about all of 170 words. Can't be right.

Cheering you all on!
Synopses are single spaced, and I always start mine at the top.

There are lots of info on this subject on other threads...you might want to do a search.
I single space mine and keep it to a half page. My agent and editor hate them... This is different than the one or two (or three) sentence "hook" in a query letter

General rule of thumb is that one page is single spaced, while three pages are double spaced. Two pages are up in the air. One inch or one and quarter inches all around margins.

Best of luck,
