http://screencrave.com/2009-06-25/report-jeff-goldblum-has-died/

This one isn't confirmed yet, but it seems like he fell to his death on-set in NZ.

Wow.
eta: And maybe Harrison Ford? <-- not confirmed anywhere reliable.
If true, this has truly been a bad week for Hollywood. :(

eta (again) - It's quite possible I'm a gullible idiot...

Shepard Smith reported about this on FOX news. Someone is sending all the major media outlets emails reporting other celebrity deaths, usually making them really gruesome or explicit. None of these other reports have any basis to them.

It's a hoax, perpetrated by asshats who take a ghoulish delight in acting like jerks.

Okay, so if this is a joke, it's actually funny for me.

My roommate used to adore Jeff Goldblum. In college, our friend walked up to her and said, completely seriously, "I have bad news. Jeff Goldblum died."

And only later that day did she find out it wasn't true.

And we reference it all the time. In fact, we just referenced it b/c Jeff Goldblum was on the Colbert Report a couple of times.

So I hope it's a joke once again.

If this is a hoax, then Fox News had egg on their faces.

Kinda reminds me of when Aneglina Jolie was pregnant last year, and E! reported she gave birth, only to later learn she had not given birth yet. E! then released a statement where they said something along the lines of: "We are employing all resources available to investigate this source of this misinformation, including local law enforcement." To which Jon Stewart said: "I can just imagine the local Los Angeles Police answering the phone call from E! and saying to them: "Don't call us again! We have real shit to do!"
