So I finished writing my book. I went to a writers conference. Now I just need people to read it and tell me what could be better. Also I have tons of questions that I hope this forum can help me with. I know about query letters and such but what's the deal with writing a synopsis? Anyway I hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

You can find some threads around with suggestions for writing a good synopsis. Some people seem to really have a hard time with that; they can write a book but can't seem to be able to condense it into a three or five-page synopsis.

Welcome! I'm one of those people alleycat mentioned. I'm in the middle of writing my synopsis right now and it's giving me hives.

Synopsiseseses suuuuck!!! Ain't no doubt about it. But it must be done...it must be done. All you have to do is take your 500 page book and put it onto one page. No problem-o (not).
