Title Assistance...

Chasing Empty?

You know I like Chasing Empty. But in looking at your list, if you decided to change the title I liked the descriptor for "Cult of Angels" better than the alternate titles.
"angels of the underground" sounds like a damn fine title to me.

(but I still love chasing empty the best.)

How about "A Cult of Horses" or "Horses Chasing Angels?"

I remember those characters so well. Just you telling about that scene reminds me of them again. I still see them in my head.

Yep...Chasing Empty is a great title. (and then if they tell you they want to change it, you can suggests Angels of the Underground as an alternative.)

I'm drawn to A Lack of Horses. Firstly, I really like horses and secondly I find it just cryptic enough to make me want to find out what it means.

Chasing Empty sounds like someone ran out of gas, to me. The angels one makes me think of those Guardian Angels in NYC who used to wear those red tams on their heads (do they still exist).

I liked Chasing Empty the best. Just sounded the most meaningful.

Chasing Empty stands out for me as well. I know that feeling.

I like Chasing Empty. It's active. Where does chasing empty leave one? I guess it raises questions. And I like that I'm not sure whether to feel urgency or despair, but either way ...it feels desperate and full of life. To me

KTC, I dislike Chasing Empty. It reminds me of the song title by HIM, Killing Loneliness for some reason. I don't know why my brain makes that association, but it does.

Would you consider... A Chase of Empty Angels?

It's weird, I can title my own stuff fairly well, but when it comes to someone else's... I'd have to read it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Chasing Empty is my favorite but remember, the publisher will have the right to change the title (hopefully in consultation with you).

None of them really grab me. I guess I'll go with the ceramic dalamation for $1500, Chuck.

I think it should be "A Lack of Empty Horses Chasing Angel Cults".

But "Chasing Empty" is my second choice.

I read the choices and before reading the post I settled on chasing empty as well... its short and to some point leaves the reader going WTFman.
