Hello one and all. New here and they said I should post something. My current representation has hip pocketed me so now I'm trolling for a new rep which is how I found the AW site. In the process I've caught the Save the Cat buzz from associates and was wondering if anyone had experience and/or feedback about the formula?

I think this question might be more appropriate in the screenwriting section.... Welcome though! and I've never read it, but I do get a lot of people telling me to read it, maybe there's more to it?? I don't know but welcome!

Welcome, and congrats on getting representation. I've touted the benefits of Snyder's Beat Sheet often, for every league of fiction writer, not just scripts. Having said that, I found his book amusing but as a offbeat thriller writer I can't say I was 'inspired'.

Way back when I was trying my hand at writing screenplays, I found "Save the Cat" to be a very helpful and informative book.
You'd probably get a better discussion down in the screenwriting forum.
