Indeed. Happy Father's Day, gentlemen. Except not to my dad because it's not Father's Day in Australia until September.

*panics* It is in September, right?

This is my tribute to the fathers... starting with my husband. You're great Jeremy and I love you.

Hell's bells. I should have mimosas for brunch every day. The family made them for me on Mother's Day and I returned the favor. It's a very self-serving deal.

Well, as a father, for me the day was a bit of a blur because we were out at a party till late last night. I received a card from 18 year old daugther that said that she actually does love me and apologised for her hormonal moments. The fourteen year old son disappeared and returned with a box of Thornton's chocolates which the pair of them proceded to demolish, leaving me with the coffee and caramel ones, but do you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way. Oh, and the wife even gave me a card, despite our long standing agreement that neither of us is a mum or dad to the other.

Being divorced and having my kids be so young yet, father's day goes by as any other day.

But thanks for the well wishes. :D

By the way, after watching the movie Home and seeing some of the ill-effects of over-population, I feel compelled to say that only two of my daughters are biological; the other three are adopted from Cambodia.
