I have watched so many of my friends and family die already through my lifetime, I don't know that the bonus of never growing old myself would be a negative. But I want to go back to a younger me if that is the case. You may lose people you love but that does not mean you won't make new friends and find new lovers. I think that adventure is worth living for, if it were only possible.

Also, if eternal life is in the offering, I want eternal health and strength as well. No use being old and decrepit, watching everyone die around you with no hope of release from personal pain and torment. Now that would really suck.
