So going to watch this. I believe that, unlike Land of the Lost, this film will find that mythical spot where it transcends stupidity and pushes right through to stupidly funny.

It's got some very funny people in it (specifically Michael Cera and David Cross). I'm looking forward to it.

I thought they already did that in 10,000 B.C.

Michael Cera is major bonus points for this movie but I still don't think I can subject myself to it.

Michael Cera as a caveman doesn't really change his style from what I've seen in the trailers; he's still as deadpan as ever. At least he's not grunting every line.

It was "meh". It had some funny parts, but it would have been FAR better had it been R rated.

I saw the Year One trailer before another film... and no one in the audience laughed. Not even a quiet chuckle. I took that as a bad sign.

Reviews are universally bad. But that's probably exact the reason some people will see it - they're anti-reviewers. :)

I read up on that actually and it was originally rated R, but the makers were trying to get a PG-13 rating, so they had to cut a good bit of the R-rated humor out of the movie. Be looking forward to an unrated-dvd of it though.:e2headban
