When I was 10 or so, I was a white-haired blond. But I was obsessed with Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn) of Man from Uncle fame. So I talked my mom into dyeing my hair brown. Being a smart mom, she used very cheap hair dye.

My hair turned green, and I spent an entire summer that way.

Wouldn't seem the least bit odd now.
