I think women are better to write love stories, because in my opion women are more romantic than men are in genaral. so I think a women would make a better romantic writer than a man.

Um, don't you think that's kind of prejudiced? I know there are male romance writers who read this forum, don't you think it will make them feel sad and angry if you say they're worse at what they do than women just because of their gender?

I've met some very romantic men, and some not-at-all romantic women. I can think of some excellent romance written by men. While there are certainly more women than men who write romance, I don't think there's any difference in quality between the average female romance writer and the average male romance writer.

I thought this thread looked a little familiar, writersliving. You started one similar to it here (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8813), with over 50 replies, and here's another one (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8301) that someone else started and you commented in, also dealing with the same subect matter.

Just thought that might be helpful, if you're looking for opinions, since there are quite a few there.

That's the oddest opinion I've read in a while. Makes me wonder if you actually read. This is not even a legitimate topic. Writing is not gender biased. Writing is an individual skill without gender lines. Men are just as capable, or incapable, of romance writing as women.

(PS You might want to do a spell-check prior to posting. No offense. Itís just that you might come across a bit better if you were a little more conscientious of your spelling and grammar.)
