I'm looking for a writer's workshop or retreat with the following characteristics: taking place in Seattle during the summer of 2009 or 2010, no longer than a week and no shorter than a weekend, involving science fiction/fantasy/interstices genres, and for semi-pros or people who are nearly ready to be published (not beginners or established pros). I have done some Googling, but would prefer recommendations from actual human beings.

Check out the Pacific Northwest Writer's Conference, held annually in July in the Seattle area. Very legit, big set of contests in all kinds of writing, lots of writers, editors and agents attend. I don't have their site URL right handy, but a quick look with what our most recent ex-President referred to as "the Google" will find it.
