The stapler gag--with the Rock--in Get Smart just kills me. It's all I can think of when someone says "stapler."

Sad thing is, while Dunder Mifflin has a number of characteristics that look painfully familiar, I've actually worked at Initech.

Poll option: Someone took my stapler.

Clarification: Jim Halpert put it in Jell-O.

Poll option: Someone took my stapler.

Alternate clarification: Milton Waddams says to Bill Lumbergh after being told he'll have to relocate his desk to the basement, "Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler." It's why he ends up burning down the building. :-)

Ah seriously. I freakin' love that movie. I respect the Rock so much more when he does comedy over action. He really does a good job of the stone-faced humor.

Yep. My husband was complaining about his job last night and I said, "like Initech?" And he said, "Exactly."

Sass- who has the Office Space kit with and Initech mug, red swingline stapler, starter flair, a jump to conclusions map, a "is this good for the company" banner, and a sticker to put on the fax saying, "PC Loadletter".

Whenever Dwight asks you if you want to be part of a secret alliance, you always answer "Absolutely I do"
