Somehow I ended up in Fort Worth. Dunno how that h
Tetris turned 25 today.

Seems the legendary game was created by Alexey Pajitnov, during his days at the Russia's Computing Center of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. Also, it seems he didn't see a dime from the game until 1996.

Crazy communism keeping the man down!

You know, it's still a fun game if a bit long in the tooth. I mean, I've got it for my phone, anyway.

Thank you, Tetris, for making me see little blocks floating down the screen in my sleep. I still have it for my GameBoy Colour. That's the kind of cutting-edge gamer I am ;)

I'm older than Tetris?!?!? Hell's bells.

Though, I guess it did need a computer platform to get going. And I still remember my first green-screen computer and giant floppy disks. I loved Load Runner as a wee kid. Then I magnatized it and all the other disks when I needed a hiding space for the tacky magnets I bought mommy and daddy for xmas.

Ah, memories.
