Since we get "corrected" for derailing threads, I figure we should have one that is completely dedicated to derailing.

So go ahead and make a great argument that has nothing to do with the previous poster. I like derailiation because it's necessary to my post count and I love to go into a totally serious argument where I have no idea what the people are talking about and say "I like turtles"

I give this thread an hour.

Political derailery: Personally, I am opposed to the idea of snowboarding interrogation techniques. I think that if someone derails another human being merely for the sake of information they ought to be sent to live with the turtles, who at least know enough to tuck their heads in when they're thrown in the water. But what all that has to do with the price of oil in the middle east is beyond my comprehension. I think this administration has abused its privileged status to take advantage of all amphibians alike, not just turtles and I for one, want to bring it to a stop. Who's with me?

This just in! *flash* In a bizarre twist of events, three visually-challenged rodents have gone postal downtown at the local Cleaver's Meat Market.

According to eyewitnesses the suspects were wearing eyeless ski masks and were armed with deadly assault cutlery. It remains unclear as to where the the weapons were obtained, but detectives are speculating that the knives closely resemble carving implements used routinely at Cleaver's.

Additionally, a trio of identical rodent appendages are undergoing DNA testing, to positively determine the suspects' identities.

For further details, tune in at 6:00.

The death of Edgar Allan Poe on October 7, 1849 has remained mysterious: the circumstances leading up to it are uncertain and the cause of death is disputed. On October 3, Poe was found delirious on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland, "in great distress, and ... in need of immediate assistance", according to the man who found him, Joseph W. Walker.[1] He was taken to the Washington College Hospital, where he died at 5 a.m. on Sunday, October 7. Poe was never coherent enough to explain how he came to be in this condition.

I saw the most beautiful white pigeons near the library. They have a steam (really icky and horrid!) and tons of birds congregate there. There are ducks, white geese, and of course, we have Canada geese that come through here all the time. There are flocks an flocks of them grazing on the high school grounds in the morning when I drive to work...
