Actually, it's more than one teen and young adult writer seeking a mentor. Try dozens.
Elisabeth Wilhelm, editor of Absynthe Muse (http://www.absynthemuse.com), an online young adult and teen writing community, has double-teamed with Hope Clark, editor of FundsforWriters.com (http://www.fundsforwriters.com) to create a unique, free mentoring program that connects teen and young adult writers ages 13 to 22 with experienced adult writers. However, the majority of the population under the legal drinking age love to write sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, genres that we're having trouble covering on the mentor end. These teeming masses of highly intelligent, motivated, and talented young writers have no one they can be matched up to ("Hey Billy, I know you wanted a fantasy mentor, but I stuck you with this guy who really knows his way around technical writing!"). Please consider spreading good karma and consider applying for a position as mentor, and in the words of a teenager, represent!
