I need help folks and I'm not ashamed to admit it! Okay, fine, I'm a little ashamed. Mostly desperate. I feel like a terrible wife for not having this figured out already.
Our 4th anniversary is tomorrow and I haven't gotten my husband anything--he's out of town so I have some time--but I am at a loss. I'm not very good at gift giving in general and I sorta want to wow him. Thoughts on my (crappy) ideas, or any of your own would be really appreciated
Things I'm considering:
1. A nice wedding band, possibly engraved. He can't wear one at work and doesn't care for the one he has (it's the standard gold band) so he never wears it at all. Not sure if he'd really appreciate a new one or not.
2. A massage chair that he wants--this seems a little out there for the occassion though.
Not much to go on right? He's into electronics and movies, but I'd rather do something more personal. I'm not concerned about what would be traditionally given.
Also--since we email frequently, I thought it would be fun to send him a third person account of our relationship. I started one with the idea that it would be romantic, writing the ways that he has helped me understand love, and interjecting some quirky conversations we've had and things we've done that really make us "us", but now am a little afraid to send it. Does it sound totally corny and lame? I think it may be more appropriate for me than for him. Would you want to receive something like this?
