i first got into the gaming industry in january 97. it's hard to believe that this charade has spanned my whole career, even a three-year period where i went off and made films, after which i came back to the industry.

I never understood...

Why do we need another Duke Nukem game?

We all know Duke Nukem 3d kicked total ASS and was perfect.

You know what I would love to see?

Someone who can actually release a GODDAMN GAME ON TIME get Duke out there...

The publishing rights still exist, afterall.

I hate that every anticipated game gets pushed back over and over until its like a year late.

Well, I never preorder. In fact I often wait until the first 3 or 4 patches are in the game before I buy it.

In online games this sometimes gives you a cheap spurt of superiority as you use your first learning curve's exploratory innovations to beat people who are still trying to unlearn some buggy moment early in the game's evolution.

And the lawsuits start!

Take-Two Interactive has reportedly sued Apogee Software's 3D Realms over the company's failure to develop "Duke Nukem Forever." According to Take-Two, Apogee breached a mutual agreement which stipulated the production and design of a new Duke Nukem sequel.
