Aldo!

But can you dig this fantasy life?

Summer breeze makes you feel alright
Neon lights shining brightly make your brain ignite
See the girls with the dresses so tight
Give you love if the price is right
Black or white
In the streets there's no wrong and no right
so forget all that you see
It's not reality
It's just a fantasy
Can't you see
What this crazy life is doing to me
Life is just a fantasy
Can you live this fantasy life
Outasite
Buy your kicks from the man in the white
Feels alright
Powder pleasure in your nose tonight
See the men paint their faces and cry
Like some girl it makes you wonder why
City life sure is cool
But It cuts like a knife
It's your life

Merged threads and retitled this one to reflect the burgeoning comparisons of Ray to food-stuff.

Plus it's hard to have to watch both so closely.

With this crowd I don't blame you.

I don't blame you.

I blame him. I blame him very much. He's as much as admitted to doing it.

If anyone starts swapping recipes, we might have reason to move the whole shebang to the Cooking forum.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for thirty minutes.

Okay, I will not say what I'm thinking when looking at this thread title.

Don't even tempt me.

And who can stomach Ray's salmon without dill sauce?
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon-style prepared mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dillWhisk together sour cream, mustard, lemon juice and dill until well blended. Chill before serving.

Who was threatening to move this to the cooking section?

If you like salmon try it on a bagel with cream cheese and strawberries. If it's good nova add chives to kick it up a nawtch.

ooo. That's yummy.

I went to a bagel shop in Vermont about a year and a half ago - they have an awesome smoked salmon bagel sandwich...

*Must plan trip back to VT soon...*

Still not saying anything. It's Silver King's fault.

For just a moment, when I read the thread title, I saw "Ray's Salmon and Rushdie". :)

Hiya HOL'rs. Hope all are well and well enough.

Did salmon on the grill last night. Now it's rainy and gray. I'm thinking soup.

Salmon on the grill, with those mashed potatoes I mentioned, with a house salad with bleu cheese dressing, maybe a nice glass of white wine....

Who was threatening to move this to the cooking section?
I think it was Silver King. But he's so wishy-washy sometimes, I don't know what to believe.

Genoa salami and eggs:

Dice up a hand full of salami and onions and a clove of garlic. Saute the onions in butter for a few minutes, then add salami and garlic. Beat three or four large eggs with a few drops of half-and-half, then add to the pan, stirring to scramble. When eggs are just about cooked, add some cheese to the mixture, stir a few more times, then serve with fresh Italian bread and hard butter and piping hot coffee.

You'll thank me later. :)
