Alright, not a game but a virtual world simmulation and my current addiction. Anybody got expiriences with it? I first didn't saw the point, but when I started making money as a journalist I could see the fun of it (Pointless as real life, though, haha!)

yep. I reviewed it for the site I write for.

It's micro-transactional. There's no overall narrative or anything like that. And, my final conclusion about Second Life was that anything you could do there would have a better net effect in Real Life.

I make mushrooms and sell them. One day, everyone will have one of my mushrooms. Then they'll discovered they're actually my fungal minions and the whole of Second Life will be mine!

I also wander around Caledon (a steampunk area). They ran an Easter egg hunt recently, which was fun.

Often lost within my own mind.
It's an interesting idea. But to me it seems like just a concept at this point and fails at the execution. I've started it, but really there's nothing that grabs at me. The graphics are painful. There seems to be so much 'space'. You can walk around forever and get absolutely no where. It just seems too BETA for me to get into it. Now, give it 10 years, come out with a better version of it, maybe I'll actually put some more serious consideration.
